An Iconic Local Event. The first Norton Street Italian Festa was held in 1986, in the heart of Sydney’s Little Italy, and since then it has grown to become one of the largest annual street festivals in Australia. Featuring hundreds of stallholders, entertainment, music, dancing, and showcasing Italian and Inner West culture, the Festa is a fun, family day out that has something special for everyone. For the first time, Viva Leichhardt will be curating a culinary stage at the Festa, featuring the very best of Italian food, drinks, and products, with celebrity guests and a rolling program of cooking demonstrations.
ABOUT THE STAGE
At the heart of the Norton Street Festa is our culinary stage, where renowned chefs will demonstrate traditional techniques and share secret recipes for classic dishes.
As you watch, you will be treated to samples of these delicious creations, paired with glasses of fine Italian wine and beer.
With live music, traditional Italian dancing, and a bustling marketplace filled with artisanal goods and ingredients, this iconic Festa is a true celebration of la dolce vita - the sweet life!
